Assisted Living Director / Nurse
Over the years, I gained experience as a Health Unit Coordinator, Universal Worker, Registered Nurse, assisted living Director, and dialysis nurse manager. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and leadership in senior healthcare. I believe every resident deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, receiving the same level of care and attention that we would provide to our own loved ones. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family while camping, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, and riding motorcycles.

Licensed Practical Nurse
With 16 years of nursing experience, I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults in elder care and long-term care settings. My passion for serving the geriatric population has driven my commitment to enhancing the quality of life, dignity, and well-being of those entrusted to my care. Outside of work, I live with my husband on a hobby farm near Brainerd, Minnesota. I enjoy gardening, kayaking, and spending time outdoors, activities that help me stay connected to nature and maintain a balanced lifestyle. My personal and professional experiences continue to inspire my dedication to caring for others and supporting healthy, fulfilling lives..

Activity Director
Susan, our Activities Coordinator, brings both creativity and enthusiasm to everything she does. She is passionate about providing engaging, enriching, and educational experiences that enhance life for the residents at Nordic Woods. Susan thrives on building meaningful connections and fostering a strong sense of community. She holds a degree in Recreation Management and lives in Baxter with her husband, their two teenagers, and their two Small Munsterlanders.
