Your ability to live life your way is important to us. Our small community offers an inviting space for our residents and their loved ones to relax, socialize, eat, or participate in activities.

You’ll have the support you need to spend more time doing the things you love. We’ll provide you with meals, take care of your housekeeping, manage your laundry, and basic activities of daily living.

How Can Anyone Afford Assisted Living Services?

Many seniors and families come to us concerned that they cannot afford assisted living services or that they will eventually run out of resources. We understand that all assisted livings are expensive and that most, if not all struggle with the financial component and uncertainty that goes with it. Many residents enter as private pay and when an assisted living resident is no longer able to afford private-pay services, they may transition to Medical Assistance and the Elderly Waiver program. We also accept residents who come to us who are already on the Elderly Waiver program or are in the process of getting it set up. The process typically begins with an application for Medical Assistance through the county or state human services agency such as Crow Wing County. Once financial eligibility is established, the resident undergoes a Long-Term Care Consultation to assess their care needs and determine eligibility for waiver services. If approved, a case manager develops a service plan outlining the support required to safely meet the resident’s needs in the assisted living setting. The Elderly Waiver program can then help cover the cost of approved care services. This transition allows eligible seniors to continue receiving necessary care and services when their personal financial resources have been exhausted. We want our residents to feel secure and know that we are always willing to support them to keep them safe and comfortable in our care.
